The Combat Events:
Shinai Battle 1: Victor: Sir Ram Suraya and Katalina DeLorenzo
This battle was a “Capture the Crown” battle. Each “Crown” had a guard, and the opposing armies goal was to defeat the army, then the guard, and bring the opposing Crown back to their start point. The battle was over fairly quickly, with only Sir Sergay and Katalina left standing

Shinai Battle II: This was the same scenario as above. However, each Crown was armed with and 18″ Shinai that they could only use to strike the other Crown. The battle came down to Katalina DiLorenzo and her guard, Sir Michael, on one side, and Sir Sergay on the other… As Sir Sergay was being escorted back to Katalina’s home base after being captured by Sir Michael, Sir Sergay put up a valiant (and highly entertaining!) show of trying to reach (and kill) Katalina, while remaining in Sir Michael’s grasp. Each combatant had a number of resurrections they could claim from their “deity”, HRG Elizabeth and Chris Osborn. To claim a resurrection, each dead combatant had to grovel before their deity, begging to be returned to finish their Earthly work. There were some quite impressive grovels, such as Sir Ram, who started on his knees, and slowly crawled forward, begging in a tone that even the Marshals could clearly hear, and the Grovelling Champion, Sir Michael, who crawled to HRG Elizabeth on his belly for ~25 feet!
Victor: Sir Ram Suraya and Katalina DeLorenzo

Shinai Battle III: This was a 30 minute Resurrection Highlander-style battle, where only headshots counted, and the Goddesses of Res were again in action. The battle came down to the two *least* experienced combatants, Ed Brown on Sir Sergay’s side, and Joshua Augustice on Sir Ram’s side.
