Good morning!

I’ve decided to make this my default page, such that I might actually *write* in it once in a while… I’m in the process of getting the Talon’s Transmission repaired, so that I’ll actually feel comfortable driving it around without worrying excessively that I’ll be on the freeway someplace, and the tranny won’t take the stress anymore, and lock up, killing me in the process… Here all this time, I thought that it would cost me upwards of $1000 to fix, and it’s a $65 part… *sigh*

2006 update:
What I failed to mention the first time around…the Talon had a slight leak from the driver’s side of transmission when I bought it, and I had to keep topping it up with fluid periodically.
The Eclipse/Talon had a habit of having this one nut work loose inside – on the end of the shaft that holds the whole transmission together.
Mine had not only worked loose, but had worked so loose that it had cracked the outer cover. A $65 cover and a new nut later, good as new.
