Kathlene…*grumble*

Had a really rough day at home, though. We had to come down on Kat with both feet…again. She really does need to learn respect – not just for parental figures, but also for herself and everyone around her. Not sure how to do that. She uses *everything* as a crutch to avoid responsibility. “My mother used to hit me” (not sure I believe that), “I’m afraid of men” (why? Because your mother used to hit you? *DURF?*), “I’m just a little bratty kid”…blah blah blah, the list goes on for ever and ever…

What to do?
