Friend of a Friend of a Friend bought a Sleep Number bed. Bought the S&F a couple years ago.
Friend of a Friend is divorcing Hubby, and just got a new apartment.
Friend of a Friend of a Friend gave the S&F to Friend of a Friend.
Friend of a Friend doesn’t have room for it in her new apartment.
Friend of a Friend asked Friend if she knew anyone that had a double-or-queen size bed they might like to trade.
Friend asked me offhand.
Me said yes.
Me got the $1800 S&F in trade for the Double I had, that *I* got for free from the former residents of the Harrison St. House.
And, yes, surprisingly, I can sleep with my conscience at night…very well, thank you. There’s plenty of room for it, me, and the cat. 🙂
In other news, I had the flu last week. Terrible, dreadful flu that still has me waking up in the morning feeling like Goblins come in at night and beat on me with shovels while I sleep.
I wonder if Meg’s going to TX-MAS for X-MAS? Hope so…she hasn’t posted anything in her LJ for a goodly long while…and she deserves it… She’ll wow her Parentals…and the rest of the whole fam-damily. 🙂
I’m going down to Colorado Springs on the 2nd of January to go race the Vibe at the World Arena… that should be fun. I’ve also made contact with a few other Vibe Owners locally, and it looks like there might be one or two more coming along, as well. That’d be cool. 🙂
I don’t think I mentioned this, but I also pre-ordered The Matrix Online, and have been in the Closed Beta since November 18th. I don’t know if you’re much one for Massively Multiplayer Online Games, but MxO is *definitely* going to be the game that I play through the spring and summer… The Wachovski Brothers are actively involved in it, and it will be, in essence, the 4th movie. A continuation of the Storyline. There was a Developer’s Chat last week on Stratics, and one of the best quotes I’ve seen was from the Lead Developer. “The Matrix Online is not a Theme Park” – if you kill one of the NPCs from the movie, (f’rinstance, Morpheus or the Merovingian), “They won’t necessarily come back in 10 minutes”. Meaning, if you kill one of them, that affects how the storyline proceeds from there…
Imagine Star Wars Galaxies….if you could kill Jabba The Hutt, and Jabba were No More?
