We offer you the Wednesday Distraction. Today’s will ring a bell with those of you who have been with us for a while; we have a wicked fascination with the Bulwer-Lytton Contest that celebrates bad writing. Named for the original coiner of the phrase “It was a dark and stormy night,” the contest calls upon entrants to write the first sentence of the worst novel ever.
