It’s my first real day back at work after what seems like an eternity of “pseudo-vacation”…

Work 5 days (11/15-19),
Have one day off. Val and I did our Thanksgiving that day.
Go to Oracle XML class in the Denver Tech Center M, T, W. Turkey Sammiches all week. Yum!
Have Thursday off for the REAL Thanksgiving.
Have Friday off, because I didn’t have Monday off.
Work Saturday (Saturdays rarely are like work. It’s usually SUPER quiet.)
Go to Valerie’s TSA Holiday Party after work Saturday. Be the Dizzy Naked Driver. Drink lots of diet coke.
Sunday is Val’s 50th Birthday. She finally opens the Titanic 3 DVD set that I got for her over a month ago.
She *squees*, even though she doesn’t realize she is, yet. 🙂
We go to Circuit Shiddy, where she also gets another movie, and a couple CDs. Tells you something about the woman when she buys “Reba – #1s” and “50 Cent – The Massacre” for her 50th Birthday… *grin*
Head over to Sears Grand for some socks, and to look at shoes for me. Discovered that I’m a very very very picky shoe person. They can’t have a one large piece upper – looks like a clown shoe. Can’t have too many details. Looks too busy to be on my feet. Hate black tennis shoes. Hate white tennis shoes.
Did something yesterday, but I don’t really remember what all it was…
Somewhere in there, we watched Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, and The Italian Job, too.
And thus, now I’m back at work. Val, the lucky son of a gun, had the foresight to take this whole week off.
