OK, so there’s this RPG that I used to play with my best friend Allen in High School by Game Designer’s Workshop – it was called Traveller.
Some of you long time Role Players may remember it from the early 80’s.
I’ve been looking for a copy of Striker (the game’s standalone 15mm miniatures combat game) for 10 or more years.
I finally found a copy, and have it in my hot little hands…
Which led me to looking for more Traveller-related stuff.
Hoboy…has the Internet (and the demise of every other company holding the rights to Traveller) been good for keeping this old dog RPG alive. 🙂
The rights have now passed back to the original author (Marc Miller) and it seems the game is about to go through something of a renaissance.
In the meantime, there are resources out there like this:
StuffOnline – which includes a listing of 700+ ships drawn from Canon (official) sources, as well as some player and ref additions…
I think I’m getting hooked again…
