Ann and I had two Thanksgiving dinners yesterday. We had dinner with Josh and Kari, Paige and Tal, Jered and Melanie, and the assorted kids thereof. The turkey was amazing. We actually had difficulty getting it off the rack it was cooked on, it was so falling-off-the-bone tender.
At 5, we headed over to Paul’s to have dinner with Paul and Val and Ryan and Tom. There were some really yummy non-traditional things there. Candied white sweet potatoes. Scalloped corn. Val made stuffing from scratch.
Wrapped up the day with some text messages with my sister Kelly, and a three and a half hour phonecall with my mom.
It was a really good holiday.

Today is going to the DMV to register the DRZ400, and then putting up holiday lights. 🙂
