Giving Thanks – October 10th Edition

It’s Monday, the 10th of October, and I’ve started working on some exercises from this stupendous book I’m reading entitled 59 seconds – Think a Little, Change a Lot
The exercise for today is:

There are a great many things in your life for which to be grateful. Think back over the last week and list three of these things.

Seems a little strange to do on Monday, but I’ll run with it!
I’m grateful to have a job that I enjoy, even during the times where it’s slow and I’m bored, or it’s not going the way I’d like, and I’m frustrated. When I compare the days that I’m bored or frustrated with the days that I’ve had where I was bored or frustrated in other positions, the comparison is, well, no comparison at all. I’ve got a terriffic job, and with the things that have been happening lately, it looks like there’s finally going to be some room to grow and stretch my legs!

I’m grateful for the few friends I have, because they’re really amazing quality people. I’m unbelievably grateful that they are understanding when I’m in a spot where I need some alone time, and I’m glad they’re there when I come out of my shell.

I’m grateful for Neely Quinn, Jason Glaspey, and Max Shippee – who run PaleoPlan.com. I’ve come to rely on their shopping lists quite heavily, as they remove a lot of samey-ness from my Paleo-ish diet. For instance, this week I had Pork Tenderloin with a sauce of onion, mixed berries (blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries), honey, and vinegar. It was divine. Thank you guys for the work you do!
