  1. I'm afraid of change.
I'm not comfortable where I am, but I avoid change through procrastination over the things that would move me from where I am to where I want to be.

It started the day I realized that I'd lost 10 years of my life someplace along the way.

Fortunately, it didn't cost me as much as it could have. I've got coworkers that I've been working with more or less closely for 2-10 years, and virtually ALL of them have guessed my age wrong when the subject has come up – and they're wrong by 8-12 years.
