From what I saw on reddit, this was a plan the cops had. They had people ready to light the place on fire.
i was just reading about this. it's really fucked up and sad. from what i understand, they don't actually know whether he died; i kind of hope he didn't because it sounds like he had a real, genuine grievance that i'd like to see addressed rather than swept under the rug, and that's more likely if the guy is alive.
That's pretty messed up on a number of levels.
Yeah, that's messed up. There's also scanner recordings of the cops saying "burners deployed, we have a fire" before the gunshot.
A comment on ksl.com's article also pointed out that LAPD reported finding Dorner's wallet near the military base after he'd stayed there, but they're now reporting finding his wallet with the charred body.
