What a strange dream, man!

I had this *very* weird dream last night… I dreamt that I was leaving Denver to go on a vacation, and I was flying on ATA airlines, down at the C49 gate…but it wound up being this weird ATA-Express-type deal..they led us down the jetway, down the stairs onto the tarmac, around through all these buildings and alleyways to the plane…which was 1/2 Tiny commuter plane, and 1/2 Douglas DC-4 (Circa 1945). There was a long wait to get on the plane. It was hot, but I wasn’t sweating. Once I got on the plane, There were bench seats that ran down the length of the sides of the plane, but they were upholstered like a ’70’s couch – comfy, but this tacky blue velour. When I sat down, my head was bumping against the side of the plane. There were no seatbelts. I had to ask a grumpy old man to move over so I could sit down – he was taking up 1/2 of two “seats”. Then the pilot got on board, and we took off from right there…but we had difficultly gaining altitude. It seems that the pilot was explaining to the copilot how the Heads Up Display worked, how the little indicator showed where the plane was actually flying…whether it was going to hit the ground or not. …and he was flying LOW and FAST…right over the freeway toward downtown!

Then I woke up.

Very weird.
