Welp…I’ve actually started spending money on the Budget Racer, thanks to Mr. Taxman. 🙂
$194 for Tokico HP Shocks all the way around.
$196 for Injector O-rings, Valve Cover Bolt gasket kit, a gas-charged engine cover prop-rod (the stock rod is completely missing), and the big purchase – New Ball joints and tie-rod ends. The suspension should be in good shape after those items all get changed out and an alignment done.
Need to pick up a timing light to set the timing properly this weekend. The former owner put on a new distributor and plug wires, but only timed it by ear.
While I’m at it, I’ll be changing the oil and (possibly) the coolant.
