I believe most of you are fully capable of finding people to circle on your own, right?
If you're not, there is not only the ever annoying SUL (Suggested User List) that won't leave my stream, but a shit ton of circle shares, and even folks (such as myself) that are willing to introduce you to new folks you may like.
That being said, please turn off your damn "+1's on posts" activity.
Seriously, I speak for the masses that won't speak up for themselves with this post when I say this…. it.is.annoying.as.fuck.
Those of you who say "I have a large following, it may help others find new people" umm while it could be true, you tend to forget that not everyone shares the same interests as you. Not everyone is interested in seeing all of the cat pictures you plussed, or someones selfie, or better yet someones dinner." *It is simply spam to those of us who don't care.
Also, while you're at it *UN-CHECK the damn "Also share on Google+" box when you're about to leave a comment on a YouTube video.
We see enough shit as it is with this new comment integration.
I'm serious, we don't care to see what your witty self decided to leave on some random ass video.
You can't possibly think you are just that damn important to think it's okay for *you to freely spam everyone with even more needless posts.

1. Hover your mouse in the top left until the menu comes up.
2. Go to Settings
3. Go to Manage Apps and Activities
4. Choose the Google tab at the top
5. Click on Edit
6. Choose Only you
7. Save and then close the tab.>>>>>>>>>>>> To change it from the app
1. Select the 3 dotted menu on the upper right hand corner.
2. Click settings.
3. Select your account.
4. Select Sharing.
5. Select +1's from posts
6. Select Only You
It will automatically save.Please help keep our streams a bit more clean!

something something social media makes people less tolerant of different viewpoints due to ease of severing. I have no citation.
It's easier to uncircle the people who share annoying stuff than demand everyone change to suit my personal comfort level.
I've found some wonderful content that I wouldn't have otherwise found without shared +1s.
That said, the only people I share my +1s with are my husband and my twin, because I got sick of the butthurt over it.
I suppose I could be more tolerant and educate the people who don't realize they're sharing their inappropriate and unwanted +1s/YouTube comments, but odds are they'd QQ whether I ask them to stop or whether I just uncircle them.
Not butthurt. Can I get on that list, plx?

…and it winds up being pasted over other people's streams.
Selina's argument seems to be that "people aren't aware" that their +1s get shared like that.
I call BS and counter that "They see other people's +1s reshared to their stream, right? You'd have to be pretty clueless to not figure that your +1s get shared, too."
I think that regular users are unaware their +1s are shared. Anything I see like that is in a private community, and as a student there's nothing to fire me from anyway.
I might have to put a lot of time into circle management once I graduate.
