  1. As much as I support the statewide smoking ban, the airport exception seemed totally reasonable, since going outside between flights could take over an hour.

  2. Yeah, I remember those clubs in the Denver airport. I thought it interesting that if you were a Premier Executive member (United for example) you could smoke. I was, but didn't want to smoke

  3. For as much of a smoking nazi as I can be, I kinda agree too.  When I was escorting my mother through DIA on our way to GJ, we had a 4 hour layover and she is a smoker.  It was brutal to try and find a place she could have a cig, and kinda made for a big hassle.

  4. When I lived in Georgia some years ago, Hartsfield ATL had a few plexiglass box rooms for the smokers in each concourse that didn't need memberships if you needed a nic fix. I don't smoke nor does my family, so I have no idea if that was even effective. Surely there can be a compromise somewhere, especially since pot is now legal.

  5. +Benjamin Rusch When I went through there a couple months ago, I noticed the automatic doors were doing a poor job of keeping the smoke plumes boxed up.

Pot's legal, but I'm pretty sure the smoking ban applies too.  If you want a beer and a joint, you have to go on the deck :-p
