This is simultaneously the most awesome, and the most silly, thing I've seen in a very, very long time.
Even though it's completely frivolous, and will probably have a battery life of ~5 minutes or less, I AM STILL READY TO MECAM MYSELF!

That is really cool, creepy but cool.
I can only imagine the legion of vloggers who will abandon the tried and true Laptop In the Kitchen method for the Mecam Sounding Like A Hairdryer In The Background method.
My daughter (3) would love one of these to record herself dancing on command so that she doesn't have to wait for mom or dad to get their phones or cameras out.
