Snowing….

It’s been snowing for about 4 hours now, and we have over 5 inches. Everything is closed, basically.
I called my boss, and said that, unless he absolutely said I NEEDED to be there, I would be staying home…
He said that it took Lynn and Les both over two hours to get there. Marshall’s there, and he says that 553 flights (out of our daily total of around 1550) have already been cancelled. United has cancelled every flight after 1pm, and Frontier has already cancelled 1/3 of their flights, and is considering cancelling more. He, himself was pondering whether to go in, or go home…he was at the Park and Ride waiting on a bus.

So, I am *not* actually “essential personnel” with regard to the airport (Hooray for Automated Computerized Systems!), and my ass is staying HOME…*smile*
