  1. This article is historically inaccurate and very one sided. I have to get ready for work, however wanted to discuss what I mean later. Not that I agree with 600k Texans either!

  2. To call an act of succession an act of treason is backwards. The founders and the constitution very much allow for the people, and the states to govern themselves and that the people, were not servants to their government. Thirteen colonies succeeded from England and succession has been a part of being American. This article points out the pledge of allegiance as an example yet the idea of pledging allegiance to any government would have been scoffed at even by Lincoln.     Though I believe that the folks in Texas are doing this for the wrong reasons (Obama being reelected) they technically have the " right" to do it.
