I was walking around B Concourse today, and I was struck by a thought…
A couple weeks ago, I counted people while doing a walkthrough, and came to the conclusion that, in the course of my job, I actually look at about *20,000* people each week. I mean, look right *at* them.
Today, I kinda realized that I’m a terribly, terribly lucky man.
*20,000* people a week I see…and the vast *vast* *VAST* majority of them are part of a huge seething mass of unrestrained complete and utter *averageness*.
Sure, once in a while (maybe once ever couple weeks) there’ll be someone that walks by that is super-attractive or super-hideous or just has some feature that sticks out enough to make them memorable (like the *FA-LAMING* gay guy who was walking with his BF – but couldn’t take his (VERY CREEEEEEPY) eyes off me *shudder*), but in the end, I’m reminded on my daily journeys just *exactly* how beautiful Meg is, and how lucky I am to not only have her physical loveliness (which is astounding in and of itself), but to have a relationship with the most beautiful *person* I’ve ever known.
/me lucky!
Very beautiful indeed!
