Old School Rap.

I can’t believe that I was SO opposed to Rap when it was new…

I’m listening to “The N.W.A. Legacy, Volume ! – 1988-1998”, and haven’t really found a single song I don’t like…

Perhaps it’s because in 1993, I was into Pearl Jam and Nirvana, and there just wasn’t any Limp Bizkit to listen to for another 5 years?

    1. Y’mean “The Seattle Band”?

They were all so similar at the time, and I lived in Portland, OR… I just called Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, etc.
“You know, that new song by the Seattle Band…”

      🙂

In all honesty, I liked the Breeders and Faith No More, and Lenny Kravitz more at the time, but, like you, STP and Soundgarden and (especially) Candlebox have grown on me over the years… 🙂
