Hmmm, sounds interesting, except that I'm basically a keyboard guy. (wink) I play with some friends every Tuesday and with a group of unschooling parents once a month. The parents group will be performing at the LIFE is Good Unschooling Conference in May. Rock concert! (kind of)

It's not too bad. There's a lot more leeway on a bass than a violin so I am just pleased I can have nails at all.
I'm buying Rocksmith as a present for myself if/when I get hired on after my summer internship. I'm gonna make you do recitals for me in hangouts so I can see that it's worth the price ;P
It's totally worth it. I am already playing recognizable grooves 🙂

It is now unlikely that you'll have to wait until after your summer internship for it.
You will need to pick up the "RealTone" cable for it though. It's a 1/4" to USB cable that has a preamp and stuff inside it. $30 on Amazon.
