Having to know someone's email address in order to add them to your "Latitude Friends" was irritating, to put it mildly.
Now I can just make a Latitude Circle, drop a handful of people in it, and call it a day.

A) You can share by circle. D'you think any of y'all are going in my Latitude Circle? =)
B) Everyone (both sides) can already track you with the notifications from the COMM… Latitude wouldn't really provide anything useful.
C) I used Latitude on my x-country motorcycle trip (fly'n'buy) back in 2010. My experience was that it doesn't update often enough to be useful for actually tracking someone…
Be my luck that it would update while I'm farming keys for a big field lol
