"More than any other demographic, seniors are poised to be the biggest pot users in America should cannabis be legalized. It's law-abiding adults who will begin using pot in greater numbers, and the associated lameness of watching their parents ripping a bong will, if anything, probably decrease teen use."

The truth in this statement requires no elaboration.

If You Still Think Pot Should Be Illegal, You Are an A**hole
More than any other demographic, seniors are poised to be the biggest pot users in America should cannabis be legalized. It’s law-abiding adults who will begin using pot in greater numbers, and the associated lameness of watching their parents ripping a bong will, if anything, probably decrease teen use.

  1. Why?
No, seriously. Google is good for discussion, and I'm curious what your reasoning is.
Well, that, and how you go about defending it when (potentially) presented with evidence that your reasoning may (potentially) be flawed.

  2. ok i am not going to get into a pissing match with someone it seems to have posted something

to stir up a heated argument with someone by calling them assholes (sounds like a troll to

me). but i will leave you with these words of wisdom.

you need to go to a public library and find a book about prohibition(yes i know its not weed

but alcohol) but if you think about it its all the same some person that thinks they have

higher morals and think they know better and try to force there beliefs and ideas down the

    thoughts of everyone else…

lets start out with "Carrie Amelia Moore Nation" she started "The Woman's Christian

Temperance Union" she woke up one day and decided all the evil in the world was due to

people drinking alcohol…So convinced were they that alcohol was the cause of virtually all

crime that, on the eve of Prohibition (1920-1933), some towns actually sold their jails.

thinking "hell no booze no crime"She and her temperance activists hired a scholar to rewrite

the Bible by removing all references to alcohol beverage…they even advocated strong

measures against those who did not comply with Prohibition. One suggested that the

government distribute poisoned alcohol beverages through bootleggers (sellers of illegal

alcohol) and acknowledged that several hundred thousand Americans would die as a result, but

thought the cost well worth the enforcement of Prohibition. Others suggested that those who

    drank should be:

hung by the tongue beneath an airplane and flown over the country
exiled to concentration camps in the Aleutian Islands
excluded from any and all churches
        forbidden to marry
        tortured
        branded
        whipped
        sterilized
        tattooed
placed in bottle-shaped cages in public squares
forced to swallow two ounces of caster oil
executed, as well as their progeny to the fourth generation.
that thinking caused the death of thousands of people, jobs lost of thousands of people..

brewery's all over America had to shut down… AND MORE CRIME THAN THE NATION HAD EVER

    SEEN… UNTIL TODAY.
we don't even have to get into all the off shoot versions of so called "Bathroom Gin" Some

desperate and unfortunate people during Prohibition falsely believed that the undrinkable

alcohol in antifreeze could be made safe and drinkable by filtering it through a loaf of

bread. It couldn't and many were seriously injured or killed as a result…By the time

Prohibition was repealed, nearly 800 gangsters in the City of Chicago alone had been killed

in bootleg-related shootings. And, of course, thousands of citizens were killed, blinded, or

paralyzed as a result of drinking contaminated bootleg alcohol.

National Prohibition not only failed to prevent the consumption of alcohol, but led to the

extensive production of dangerous unregulated and untaxed alcohol, the development of

organized crime, increased violence, and massive political corruption…
Prohibition clearly benefited some people. Notorious bootlegger Al Capone made

$60,000,000…that's sixty million dollars…per year (untaxed!) while the average

industrial worker earned less than $1,000 per year. in today's money the amount of money

    could run a small country..

i can see that happening today. i am against cocaine, heroin, pcp, etc they have no benifit to

anyone. but on the other hand if we ended prohibition on weed, cannabis. we could tax it

bringing much needed revenue to states who desperately need a boost of funds to improve the

    infrastructure of this nation..

other benefits: prison over crowding we have more people in us prisons that any other

country in the whole world. Thus saving billions of dollars. freeing up more money for the

states to put into schools, and stuff.

are you going to call our sick children assholes? Davet Syndrome is a rare, severe form of

intractable epilepsy. Intractable means the seizures are not controlled by medication. The

first seizures with Dravet Syndrome usually start before the age of 1. In the second year,

other seizures take hold: myoclonus, or involuntary, muscle spasms and status epilepticus,

seizures that last more than 30 minutes or come in clusters, one after the other.. There are

eight medical conditions for which patients can use cannabis — cancer, glaucoma, HIV/AIDS,

muscle spasms, seizures, severe pain, severe nausea and cachexia or dramatic weight loss and

    muscle atrophy, and Dravet Syndrome.

so im done playing your game.. you will not hear back from me on this subject because sir you

need to get some books and read up before you start acting like you know what is best for

    ME!

  3. So what you're saying is…you agree with the article, which says that if you still believe that marijuana being illegal is a GOOD thing, you're an asshole, not the other way around…which means you're NOT an asshole, proud or otherwise, after all.
