Our new apartment has new satellite photos!
The dirt lot is the "before" picture – that's what has been showing for the last couple of months.
The new photo shows 2 complete buildings, three more under construction, and pads poured for 5 more.

In other moving news, our move-in date got moved again.
First from 5 August to 30 August, and now from 30 August to 30 September…
Ah, well, stuff happens. Encore Highpointe Park is picking up the excess cost of us having to go Month to Month (which is not insignificant!), waiving the $200 Administration fee, and giving us a $250 Prepaid Visa on top of all that for the inconvenience.
I'm entirely OK with this.
Nice! Brand new construction is always fun! That looks to be near Thornton Pkwy. Hope you get to move in eventually and it all goes smoothly!

Happy to hear you're getting some compensation. Doesn't always work out that way.
We had plenty of warning. If they hadn't put some equitable compensation on the table, we'd have just moved on to our 2nd, 3rd, etc. choice.
Having a brand new apartment is nice, but it's not like we're building a house and have thousands of dollars wrapped up in the project. =)
