We'd looked at a couple places, and they just didn't grab us. Our current place requires 60 days notice, so that makes it pretty hard to find something, since everywhere else around here requires 30 days – so they don't even know what they'll have available 60d out…
This place, however…it's BRAND NEW. The building we're going into is still under construction, even. South facing patio and bedroom window (plenty of sun).

It's $115 more per month, but it's SO MUCH NICER than our current place. Totally worth it. (Not least of which is that the current complex has done ~1400 worth of damage to my car with the speedbumps that they installed last September, 3 weeks after I signed the lease. +Ryan Kramb knows how ridiculous they are… )
SO EXCITED TO MOVE. (Hm. That's a first, I think.)
