The downside is that it wouldn't work with the car dock that I use, which was made for the Samsung Infuse, I think. It fits the S3 perfectly – so long as I don't use a case! Since I use Tasker for automating my "get in the car" and "get out of the car" tasks, using her case (which has very strong plastic clips holding the phone) wouldn't work.
Today, on Kickstarter, I found the perfect middleground that perfectly suits my desire to have a wallet that allows me to have a "this is the one thing I carry" wallet, and the ability to use the phone in the car dock.
I'm planning on keeping my whopping two pieces of plastic in the card holder pocket, then also carrying the phone in the inner protective pocket during the day, and then it'll slide out easily at the end of the day, ready to go into the car dock.
Brilliant.
