6 hours of walking, a new personal best for steps recorded by my phone (11631), and being completely in awe of what RVs are like today.
Seriously.
You can get a 1 BR 1.5 bath RV with 700 square feet of living space (larger than my last apartment!) for $160k.
The loan + RV Lot space will run you about $1200/mo – which what we're paying for our current apartment (which isn't as nice as this, and isn't much bigger…)
This is definitely in my future.

We looked at some during a show several years ago and I was also amazed at how nice they are.
I'm trying to convince my wife that we should get one.
I think the kickers are:
* You should be in a position to make it your primary residence, and
* You should have income that doesn't require your physical presence in one place…like any one of these 9 examples, which include a couple of traditional jobs like Nursing and Software Developer…

If you've got those things, there's no reason not to hit the road!
That is fancy! I know there's a dealership just down the street from me.
Keep in mind that a full hook-up site will run you up a bill equivalent to a low rent.
Yep.
If +Audrey Lee and I were to buy a house in our area, our mortgage would come out to about $1600/mo.
If we bought an RV in the $160k range, our loan on the RV would be about $1000/mo, and the full hookup site halfway between our existing jobs is $575/mo.
But we couldn't drive the house to visit friends…
We just got a class A. Love it so far !! Good luck on your journey .
