Lessee… Been so lazy, I have a whole month to catch up on…
Airsoft:
The Colorado Airsoft Group finally ditched EZBoard for good. (Virus Laden Shithill) for a *real* forum at http://www.coloradoairsoft.org (Courtesy of yours truly 🙂 )
I was invited to join a local airsoft team, and we wound up picking the name “Hell’s Knights”. I’m working on a patch for us now.
I traded the M16 portion of the Masterkey to Zak for the JAC Barnes I sold him in June. (I missed it)

then traded it to Lee Wildman in PA for a KWC M16 that he’d put a custom metal body on…(I didn’t miss it THAT much)…which came in this week.

OK, so I haven’t really messed with a metal bodied replica since my suck-ass ICS MP5. This KWC is *sweet*. Between the metal Classic Army body, and the metal innards, it weighs a *ton* (that’s a good thing). I’m still sorting out the internals, and trying to get it eminently skirmishable (well, for a gun that has no hopup, anyway). I traded the M4A1 AEG to Jacob Bredsten from Minnesota for an FTC Galil SAR.
That was a disappointment. The build quality is less like a “replica” and more like the sort of play guns we had as kids…still realistic in shape, but there’s no way you’re going to put one next to a real one and fool anyone. The FTC, while having Airfed mags, isn’t that powerful, and it’s something of a gas hog and . It is noisy, though…that’s a good thing. Good for CQC, but we don’t have a place for CQC games here… =)
So, I’m trading the Galil to Cyrus for his Sun Project M40.

I’m also purchasing a Sun Project M16A1 Carbine (which is the REAL reason I traded off the JAC – the SP has real blowback, and does not require airtight magazines – Tokyo Marui Hicaps will work just fine…)

Finally, I’m trading the Maruzen Shotgun to GameFreak for his JAC Uzi DX with 5×60 round mags…
