Time for a new wallet

Last weekend I realized (when I tried to wash my current wallet – again – this time, fortunately, I rescued it while it was only damp…) that I have been carrying around this bulky piece of leather for several years, and I only need to carry TWO thin pieces of plastic.

Last week, I carried just thost two pieces of plastic. I didn't lose either one of them, much to my surprise. Still, it feels a little weird not having ANY wallet. I'm worried that one of the mag-strips will get scratched, etc.
So, I've bought one of these to protect them.

Band-it – extra small minimal wallet.
Seems too small for anything but holds everything you need.

  1. At one of the airport shops they have a money clip wallet that has that RFID protection on it. Apparently, the cards are safe to put into it, but I don't know for sure.

  2. I'm not really concerned about blocking the readers as nobody wants my identity. I was thinking more along the lines that it would protect the magnetic strip on the cards. At least that's what I thought the purpose was??? Thanks for the link.
