I’m really missing Meggie today. She’s in the process of trying to figure out what she wants to do next, since things at work aren’t going so hot. She’s got lots of choices on the table, and the hard part is that she wants to figure out a way to “normalize” (if you will) the results of various tests she’s taking, since each book suggests careers that maximize on those talents. It’s kind of a tough thing to do, but she’s definitely on the right track!
I’m also really glad she went to the party on Saturday night… Some parts of it sounded like they weren’t really so fun, but some other parts she shared sounded like they were super awesome for her. There were some parts that she was positively giddy over, and I can see why… 🙂
I have to admit, however, that I have a secret hope that those responsible for the giddiness are aware of the effect that they have on her… 🙂
I also realized just exactly how much I *know* Meg, and that’s really a refreshing realization. None of my past relationship have been as *deep* as this one – and that in and of itself is a refreshing thing to know…and kind of depressing to realize that all my past relationships have been *shallow*!
Anyway, I am missing her a lot, and I can’t wait to get home… 🙂
