Y’know, all things considered, Mondays aren’t bad.
Yesterday, clarsa and I went for a loooong walk around Eastlake Reservoir #2 with Da Nose. Nose was *tired* (and pretty hot) by the time we got home. She was a layabout for most of the rest of the day.
Next on the agenda was a trip to the Mikasa outlet in Castle Rock – the one that close almost 2 years ago. *facepalm* Before we left, I got Nose in the tub and ran some cool water over her front paws and neck, so she’d get a little more evaporative cooling going on while we were out.
After the abortive attempt at buying some dishes, we detoured up into the mountains, and went on a little jaunt down Rampart Range Road to a lovely overlook, where we sat, and had a few moments that were motorbike/ATV/overhead aircraft noise-free. *blisses out all over again*
Red beans and rice (and sour cream) for dinner.
Watched Slumdog Millionaire last night with clarsa. It was good. I’m not 100% sure it deserved as much glowing praise as it got. Original take on Boy Meets Girl, but I wasn’t all that impressed beyond that.
Slept really well last night.
Today, we’re getting the first of the new FIDS (Flight Information Display System) monitors up and running on A Concourse. Lots of running around, but they look great. =)
Just watched that this past weekend, too. Yeah, enjoyable movie, but I’m not sure why it got all the hype.
