Alongside trying to trim up by following the Paleo diet, (which was *TOTALLY* working until I took a holiday from it to move – I was down to 232.6 last Sunday), I’ve decided that even though I’m carrying around about the same heft, I don’t look nearly as good or as I did when I was playing airsoft back in 2005. In 6 years, I’ve lost a LOT of muscle tone in my upper body. Not so much in my legs and lower body, since I walk so much every week out at DIA.
Two weeks ago, I found an article on Nerd Fitness – The Angry Birds Workout.
Today, I did:
40 jumping jacks to warm up, wait 60 seconds.
Level 1 – 30 body weight squats – one set, three stars.
Level 1 – 40 knee pushups – three sets, three stars.
Level 1 – 30 one arm rows (unclear if this is total or each arm?) – two sets to do 30 in each arm – three stars.
Level 1 – 60 seconds of planks – 61.1 seconds, two sets, three stars.
Holy crap. It’s 10am on Saturday, and I’m done with exercising FOR THE WEEKEND.
